Purchasing


How can I pay for my order?

You can pay using Paypal or by credit card at the checkout. You can also pay using Afterpay or Laybuy by selecting either Afterpay or Laybuy at the checkout.


How does Afterpay work?

How does Laybuy work?

Is it possible to pre-order items?

What is the Wilson Trollope VIP club?

Here at Wilson Trollope we know you are all very inspiring people who work hard and do amazing things. We want to celebrate you and have created the WT Very Inspiring Person Club to do so.

VIP club members can earn purchase rewards and other exclusive Wilson Trollope perks. Any full price item you buy will automatically add rewards points to your account. When you reach 1000 points you will receive a $50 reward that you can use online or in-store.

An item I want is sold out, will it be restocked?

We only make a limited numbers of items so generally once a garment is sold out that unfortunately means it’s gone. There is a ‘notify me’ option on the product page that allows us to let you know is something becomes available or if a similar style is made that you may be interested in. Alternatively, don’t hesitate to get in contact with us about something you are interested in or something more specific.  


Can I change my order once it’s been placed?

Yes, send us a message and we will help you to edit your order.


Sizing


How does your sizing work?

There is no universal code for sizing so it is important to check and measure yourself to ensure you get the correct fit. We recommend you view our size guide to check your size and follow our body measurements guide if you are unsure. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us as we are always happy to help and want you to get the right size.

Shipping


Where do you ship?

We ship nationwide in New Zealand and offer international shipping.


Does shipping cost?

We offer free shipping on all orders over $50 within NZ. In New Zealand orders under $50 cost $4 to ship.


For Australia and other international locations, shipping costs $30.

Who do you use to send orders?

Courier Post collect and deliver all our orders within New Zealand. DHL deliver all Australia and international orders.


How long will it take for my order to be delivered?

All orders will be shipped within 1-2 working days from Wilson Trollope in Wellington, New Zealand. For New Zealand orders, allow 1-3 working days from the day of your order being shipped for it to arrive. For Australia and international orders allow 3-10 working days after your order has been shipped.


Will my order be tracked?

Yes, all orders are tracked and a tracking number will be provided in your shipping confirmation email. You can track your parcel using the link in your shipping confirmation email.


Does my order need to be signed for on delivery?

Yes, we use signature courier tickets to ensure your parcel gets delivered to you safely. Please choose a shipping address that is suitable for this.


Returns & Exchanges


Can I return or exchange items?

We want all our customers to love their Wilson Trollope pieces but if for some reason you don't, or if the size isn’t right, you can return or exchange items within 30 days of purchasing.

How long does a refund take?

As soon as we receive your returned goods we will process the refund on your order to your nominated bank account.


Product care


How do I care for my Wilson Trollope pieces?

All garments have a care label that tells you how to clean and care for them.


How often should I wash or dry clean my Wilson Trollope clothing?

Washing and dry cleaning is very hard on clothing and we recommend you clean garments only as they need it. By this, we mean every few wears (unless a dreaded spill happens), and we suggest you air out your garments after wearing them before putting them away.

How do I best care for my Wilson Trollope wool garments?

We recommend you dry clean your woolen Wilson Trollope garments once a year and in between just airing them out after wear. If an unfateful spill happens we recommend taking it to a professional or dry cleaner. Wool can have a tendency to pill and if this happens just carefully cut off the pill with a small pair of scissors. Feel free to contact us about any wool care queries you have, we are here to help and want your garments to have the best care so they last.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR BODY

There are three body measurement points that you need to know to ensure a great fit – bust, waist, and hips.

When taking your body measurements, wear the undergarments you normally wear for the most accurate results. Use a flexible tape measure, or a piece of string and ruler, and hold it around each body point so it is comfortably snug.  If the tape is cutting into your flesh, it is too tight.

To ensure an accurate measurement around your body, keep the measuring tape as level as possible from front to back. We recommend measuring yourself in front of a mirror so you can check this from a side view. If you can, get a friend to help you to ensure the most accurate measurements.


Bust: Wrap the measuring tape around your back and where the tape meets across the fullest point of your bust is your bust measurement.  

Waist: Wrap the measuring tape around your natural waist, the slimmest part of your torso, pulling the ends to the front. Where they meet is your waist measurement.

Hips: Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your bottom – this is usually low down towards your thighs. As with your bust and waist measurements, where the tape meets is your hip measurement.

Length: To measure the length of individual garments against your body it is best to measure down the centre of your back. To do this, start the measuring tape at either the base of your neck for dresses and tops, or at your waist for skirts. Measure down your body to the measurement listed in the garment description. This will show you where the garment comes to on you. When you are measuring for length, remember to make sure you are standing completely upright – it is best to have someone help you with this. Alternatively, compare the measurement with the length of a garment you already have.
