Designer Annabelle's Winter Outfit Inspo

As the temperature drops, it’s time to reimagine your wardrobe—and what better way to do it than with timeless layers and rich seasonal colours? Designer Annabelle shares her go-to winter look featuring our best-selling Stardust Floral Amore Dress, made from luxurious natural silk/cotton fabric that feels just as good as it looks.

A Winter Fashion Favourite: The Amore Dress

Step into winter with confidence in the blue, white and orange floral print dress that's anything but ordinary. The Amore Dress in Stardust Floral blends stunning florals with an elegant silhouette, making it the perfect transitional piece. Its breathable, natural fabric ensures comfort indoors, while its beautiful print turns heads outdoors.

Step-by-Step: Annabelle’s Winter Styling Tips

1. Start with the Amore Dress

"I’m loving the colours for this change of season!" Annabelle says. The floral palette of the Amore Dress pairs beautifully with both warm neutrals and cool tones - ideal for winter fashion layering.

2. Layer Up with a Turtleneck

A fitted turtleneck under your dress is a sleek, modern way to stay warm. Stick to soft neutrals or black to let the dress shine. It’s a functional and fashionable base layer.

3. Add Tights

A cold-weather essential! Choose sheer tights for a lighter look or opaque for extra warmth. Either way, tights help transition your favourite dresses into winter with ease.

4. Accessorise with Gold Jewellery

“I love adding gold chains over a turtleneck - it adds so much dimension to your outfit,” Annabelle shares. A layered necklace brings polish and a touch of glam to your cozy ensemble.

5. Finish with Boots and the Chloe Jacket

Tall boots are a must-have in every winter wardrobe, and when paired with our Wool Chloe Jacket, the look is effortlessly chic. The Chloe is warm, light, and perfect for layering under a heavier coat if needed.

Cozy, Chic, and Ready for Anything

This outfit checks every box: it's stylish, comfortable, warm, and versatile. Whether you're heading to brunch or a cozy evening out, layering your Stardust Floral Amore Dress with winter staples gives you endless outfit potential. Don’t let cold weather keep you from wearing what you love - just layer smart, accessorise, and embrace the beauty of winter fashion!

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR BODY

There are three body measurement points that you need to know to ensure a great fit – bust, waist, and hips.

When taking your body measurements, wear the undergarments you normally wear for the most accurate results. Use a flexible tape measure, or a piece of string and ruler, and hold it around each body point so it is comfortably snug.  If the tape is cutting into your flesh, it is too tight.

To ensure an accurate measurement around your body, keep the measuring tape as level as possible from front to back. We recommend measuring yourself in front of a mirror so you can check this from a side view. If you can, get a friend to help you to ensure the most accurate measurements.

Bust: Wrap the measuring tape around your back and where the tape meets across the fullest point of your bust is your bust measurement.

Waist: Wrap the measuring tape around your natural waist, the slimmest part of your torso, pulling the ends to the front. Where they meet is your waist measurement.

Hips: Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your bottom – this is usually low down towards your thighs. As with your bust and waist measurements, where the tape meets is your hip measurement.

Length: To measure the length of individual garments against your body it is best to measure down the centre of your back. To do this, start the measuring tape at either the base of your neck for dresses and tops, or at your waist for skirts. Measure down your body to the measurement listed in the garment description. This will show you where the garment comes to on you. When you are measuring for length, remember to make sure you are standing completely upright – it is best to have someone help you with this. Alternatively, compare the measurement with the length of a garment you already have.
